1 field, 1 aim, 1 chance.
These are my parents. On their wedding day. So full of hopes and dreams. Looking forward to the bright future ahead, and all that life held in store for them.
This was not the dream my mom had.
Becoming a widow before she was 50, and then suffering like this (and eventually dying) before she was 70.
This picture was taken on a Tuesday (4 weeks ago, today) and she died that Friday.
She’s been gone for 3 weeks, 4 days, and 5.5 hours. Feels like an eternity.
I’ve been raging and sad all day, and still managed to get some homework done.
These are the truths I have for you:
- DO what you want to do.
- DO IT NOW!
- NEVER say “I wish I could”, just make a way and DO IT!!!
She thought she had more time.
I thought she had more time.
I could post a similar photograph of my Dad (dying in a hospital bed) along side their their youthful dating picture. I know and can duplicate.. have so much empathy for this. It is the end.. the end we all have in one way or another… yes.. do it now. (myvonne)
